Tasting Room Attendant. bartenders
A Tasting Room Attendant or bartenders at Bella Terra Vineyards must perform a variety of customer service duties including, but not limited to, greeting and serving customers and co-workers, providing education about our wines and other offerings, stocking the bar, serving drinks, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the tasting room & building.
Responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors
• Greet and serve visitors in a positive and friendly way
• Treat everyone like a regular
• Serve customers in a timely manner
• Ensure product quality before serving to guests
• Interact with visitors to develop and maintain a favorable public image
• Answer questions and educate guests about Bella Terra Vineyards and other products
• Promote Bella Terra’s events and specials
• Maintain comfort & cleanliness throughout the tap room
• Maintain a clean work area (bar, tables, glassware, floor)
• Report all equipment problems, bar maintenance issues, violations or substandard practices to the Tastingroom Manager immediately
• Complete all paperwork involved in day-to-day operations
• Attend staff meetings, events and other functions as required
• Promote good public relations and handle complaints and concerns of guests
• Alert tastingroom Manager about shortages or discrepancies
• Ensure all sales are processed properly
• Collect payment for all sales
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
• Follow tasting room closing procedures with tasting room Manager
• Work well independently and as part of a team
Job Requirements

• Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts
• Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
• Ability to walk, stand, and carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Submission to a background check
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or GED (Preferred)
• At least one year of experience in the beer, spirits, or beverage industry (Preferred)
• Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages (flavors, ingredients, etc.) in order to answer questions from customers
• Prior customer service or sales experience (Preferred)
• Knowledge of modern POS systems
• RAMP Certification (Required)
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods of time and is regularly exposed to a fast paced, crowded, and noisy work environment.
