The Mon Valley Regional Chamber announces their member spotlight for the month of September, Snapshot 47. A full service photography studio which is known throughout the Mon Valley as the father daughter team of Wayne E. Ray and Jennifer L. Codeluppi. Wayne has always had a love for photography and when digital cameras emerged his love was rekindled. He started snapping scenery photos as a hobby. These photos were taking first place in many local photography contests. Wayne has also been a very active firefighter for Fallowfield Township VFC for over 38 years. One day in 2003, he was asked by a fellow fire fighter to bring his camera to a fire call and so it all started and Snapshot 47 was born. Named after Wayne’s nickname, Snapshot, and 47 being the Washington County number for Fallowfield Township VFC, Wayne thought it to be very fitting.
Jennifer learning the trade from her father, decided to follow in his footsteps. She and Wayne opened a full service photography studio located at 515 McKean Ave, Charleroi, PA. Specializing in high school senior portraits and sports photography, they can make any event a memorable experience. They are available for any occasion often being called upon by the MVRCC to cover all of their special events.
Things never slow down for Snapshot 47, in 2016, Jennifer was also hired as a photographer for The Mon Valley Independent along with Wayne, who is a stringer photographer providing many of the emergency incident photos for the newspaper.
