The Lettrich Group is well known in the Mid Mon Valley and beyond for the many commercial and residential buildings that they have designed. Robert Lettrich. A registered architech, began his business in 1966, after spending a few years working in his field upon graduation from Penn State. He operated the business from a office located above Miller’s Department Store (506 McKean Avenue, Charleroi) until 1980 when he built the unique building the group now occupies at 309 First Street in Charleroi. Robert Buscanics, also a registered architect joined the firm in 1973 a few years after graduation from Notre Dame University. The Charleroi office also includes Neville Vasko, who manages the office for the group. The Lettrich Group also operates an office in Greensburg, which is staffed by two additional registered architects Don Lettrich (brother of Robert and partner), and Michael Friedhofer. The Lettrich name is deeply embedded in the Valley, as Bob’s father Joseph owned and operated a successful construction company, Joseph Lettrich and Sons, for many years.

The walls at the Lettrich Group office are covered by renderings of the various projects that have been completed over the years, with total project costs ranging up to $10,000,000. The Lettrich Group not only designs new commercial projects, but residential construction and renovation projects as well. Some of the easily recognizable projects around the Valley include: all of the offices of Charleroi Federal Savings Banks, Valley First Credit Union in Monessen, Back Porch and Speers Street Grill, Martinelli Eye Clinic, Rostraver Public Library, Cerini’s Harley Davidson (Rostraver), and the Charleroi Elementary Center. The list is certainly long and the diversity of the types of construction and design are impressive.

The Greensburg area also features several Lettrich projects. The Lettrich Group has belonged to and supported the Chamber of Commerce continuously since the business was started in 1966. They have generously offered sponsorships, professional advice, and more for all of those years. The Lettrich Group can be reached at 724-483-7777.
