Westinghouse Chairman A.W. Robertson convened a meeting of his peers at the Duquesne Club on May 4, 1939 and Junior Achievement of New York granted its first charter to the Pittsburgh operation. The founding corporate members were Westinghouse, U.S. Steel, Koppers and Gulf Oil.
Their mission is simple: To inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
